Good Government

I believe that every government employee and elected official is responsible for safeguarding the public trust. The success of our democracy relies on an educated and engaged citizenry. As District Attorney, I expect all of my staff to act in a way worthy of that trust. Here is what you can expect from me and my staff:

• Competence: I will hold staff to a high standard, that as public servants they are responsible for performing their job in a manner worthy of this community.

• Transparency: I promise to provide open and honest communication about the work taking place in the office unless prohibited by law.

• Responsiveness: I will expect staff to respond timely to any communication from a member of the public even if the conversation is hard or uncomfortable.

• Timeliness: I expect that cases are filed in a timely manner. Warrant requests should always be reviewed within one week of receipt.
